The Days Creek and North Douglas boys basketball teams clinched Class 2A state tournament spots on Friday night, while Elkton clinched a 1A tournament berth.
Days Creek edged Lost River, 56-52 while North Douglas defeated Neah-Kah-Nie, 58-50. Elkton beat Hosanna Christian, 51-38.
Glide lost its bid for a 3A state tournament berth, falling at Valley Catholic, 57-45. Umpqua Valley Christian couldn't give McKenzie its first loss of the season and fell, 64-44.
In 4A boys play-in games, No. 1 Mazama beat Sutherlin, 50-43; Phoenix beat South Umpqua, 60-32; and Roosevelt beat Douglas, 67-63. In 4A girls play-ins, Phoenix beat Sutherlin, 38-8; and Crook County beat Douglas, 62-17.
