Premier Insurance's season ends against La Grande

NORTH BEND - Premier Insurance's season came to an end Saturday in the semifinals of the American Legion ‘A' state tournament against defending champion La Grande in a 6-3 loss.

Premier, which split four games at the tournament, finished the season with a record of 19-20.

Premier ousts Pepsi from Legion 'A' state tournament

August 15, 2012 — 

NORTH BEND - Premier Insurance rallied for three runs in the top of the sixth inning and eliminated the Pepsi Bottlecaps from the American Legion Class A state tournament on Friday with a 3-2 win.

In the sixth, Cory Finlay doubled and Zach Rose tied the game with a two-run homer. Jake Forrester stroked a one-out single, advanced to second on an error and came home on Conner Clack's single with two outs in what turned out to be the winning run.
