The Umpqua Valley Youth Orchestra has opened registration for the 2020/2021 season.

UVYO provides area youth with learning experience for a variety of stringed instruments. Classes are available for new to advanced students on violin, viola, cello and bass.

Registration is $70 per student or $200 for a family of three or more until Aug.1. Registration after Aug. 1 will be rise to $80 a student or $220 for a family of three or more. Many instruments are available to rent for an additional minimal fee.

You may register in person from 4-6 p.m. Thursday, July 23 at the First United Methodist Church, 1771 W. Harvard Ave., Roseburg. Students may also return and be sized for instruments on this date.

Due to COVID-19, class enrollment may be limited and will be determined on a first registered basis.

UVYO will begin at 4 p.m. Sept. 3 with a parents meeting and classes at the First United Methodist Church.
