Roseburg High School senior Erik Fabrizius and junior Nathan Eckstein were selected as all-SOC first team choices.

Senior Taylor Stone was the lone second-team selection for the Indians, and seniors Jon Sanders and Casey Sjogren and junior Collin Soderberg-Chase were honorable mention picks.

South Medford senior Spencer Hunter was the Player of the Year, and North Medford’s Rich Garcia was the Coach of the Year.

Glide High senior Brett Payne was selected as co-Player of the Year in the Far West League along with North Bend’s Trevor Davis.

Payne was the only first-team pick for Glide. Junior Kellan Steed and senior Taylor Morgan were second-team picks, and seniors Alex Aitken and Ryan Englebrecht were honorable mentions.

Sutherlin senior Aaron Veik and juniors Zack Bailey and David Knapp were first-team selections for the Bulldogs. Sutherlin coach Tim Bradley was honored as co-Coach of the Year with North Bend’s Blaine Deming. Senior Alex Fishbaugher was named to the second team, and junior Erik Firestone and sophomore Austin Baptista were honorable mention.

Douglas juniors Joey Swake and Andrew Bishop were second-team selections, and sophomore Tim Hutton was honorable mention.

South Umpqua sophomores Paul Fenter and Adam Crowl were second-team picks, and junior Joseph Johnson was an honorable mention.

<b><font color=”#800517”>Southern Oregon Conf.</b></font>

Roseburg juniors Carli Godard and Val Groshong led Roseburg’s selections on the all-SOC first team. Godard played offense and Groshong was a defender for the Indians. Godard was one of just two players to be voted to the team unanimously. South Medford’s Kelsey Corbin was the other.

Senior goalkeeper Allison Rader was honorable mention.

Crater’s Sarah Lafontaine was the SOC Player of the Year, while Grants Pass’ Hector Cruz was the Coach of the Year. Eagle Point coach Tim Sweeney, who coached both the boys’ and girls’ teams as a volunteer, was given a special, one-time Coaches Commendation Award.

Glide High senior Amy Croll was selected the Player of the Year in the Far West for the second consecutive season.

Croll was joined on the first team by senior teammates Shawna Fast and Melissa Marek-Farris and sophomore Sheena Balfour. Sophomore Abby Hopkins was a second-team pick, and juniors Yasmin Treki and Kayla Fummerton were honorable mention.

Douglas was led by senior Becca Ekelund on the first team, sophomore Katelyn Young and freshman Jessica Morgan on the second team, and senior Courtney Esler as an honorable mention.

South Umpqua senior Tess Banful was the only Lancer to make the first team, with sophomore Carly Lebengood making the second team and sophomore Barbara Duffy making honorable mention.

Sutherlin seniors Jennifer Denley, Beth Denley and Melissa Hedquist were each second-team selections, as was junior goalkeeper Jenna Gilman.
