ROSEBURG: Local attorney and writer Lori S. Rubenstein, who contributed a story to the best-selling book "Wake Up ... And Live the Life You Love," will talk about the book and have a book signing at While Away Books on Jan. 31.
The event will take place from noon to 2 p.m. at the bookstore, 932 W. Harvard Ave., in Roseburg.
Rubenstein contributed the story, "Transcend Through Divorce!" joining 79 other authors who submitted stories for the book, which was recently a top 10 best seller at the national Barnes & Noble Bookstore chain.
Rubenstein, a divorce attorney-mediator, is also a teacher and life coach who has worked with hundreds of people to move forward after a divorce. She teaches life makeover and transcending divorce classes through UCC.
In February, she will be signing books at Barnes & Noble Bookstore in Eugene. On that yet-to-be-determined-date, the 80 authors of "Wake Up" will attempt to set a world record by having the most number of book signings happen simultaneously across the country.
