DAVIS, Harold, LeRoy --Age 69, a resident of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away October 19, 2002, in Portland, Oregon. He was born October 6, 1933, in Antimony, Utah; to parents Harold Arthur & Ruby Elizabeth (Gleave) Davis. LeRoy moved with his family to Oregon in 1947. He was united in marriage August 17, 1957, to Dortha Nadine Horton. LeRoy had been a Real Estate Broker until is retirement. He enjoyed lathe woodworking and hunting. LeRoy, for many years, had been the timekeeper for Roseburg High School Basketball games. He had also been president of the Melrose Cemetery Association. LeRoy was recently bestowed the Silver Beaver award from the Boy Scouts of America for his many years of service. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Melrose Ward. Survivors include; wife, Dortha Nadine Davis of Roseburg; daughters, Carol Coneys and husband, Brian, of Parker, Colorado; Sharon Plummer and husband, Phil, of Portland, Oregon; brother, John Davis, of Tacoma, Washington; sister, Dorothy Demorest and husband, Robert, of Tacoma; six grandchildren, Brendan Coneys; Sean Coneys; Kathleen Coneys; Ashley Plummer, Andrew Plummer and Alexander Plummer. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sons, Michael LeRoy Davis and Roger Gary Davis. Graveside services will be held Saturday, October 26, 2002, at 1:00 p.m. at the Melrose Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to TAYLOR'S FAMILY MORTUARY in Winston.
