Four 'Survivor' stars to share adventures

WINSTON: They ate bugs, slept among enemies and endured intense emotional and physical trials. Now four contestants from "Survivor: All-Stars" will share stories of their adventures during a fund-raiser on Saturday.

The event, "Survival Beach Bash!" will begin at 6 p.m. at the Douglas County Fairgrounds in Roseburg. It will feature guest appearances by Rupert Boneham, Rudy Boesch, Ethan Zohn and Jenna Morasca. Except for Boesch, the contestants each earned $1 million on the show.

At the bash, the audience can participate in rewards, challenges and games. A seafood cioppino dinner will be served, and proceeds will help fund the construction of a 13,000-square-foot skate/bike park in Winston. The structure will be built next to City Hall.

General admission tickets cost $50 each, and they are available at PremierWest banks, Safeway stores, O'Farrell's and at the door, depending on availability. Information: 784-2143.
