CITY OF ROSEBURG NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON THE INTENT TO CONSIDER AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ROSEBURG MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTERS 3.06 AND 3.16 TO INCORPORATE CHANGES IN STATE LAW RELATING TO PUBLIC CONTRACTING
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a public hearing will be held before the Roseburg City Council on February 14, 2005, to consider adoption of an ordinance amending Chapters 3.06 and 3.16 of the Roseburg Municipal Code to implement changes in state law relating to public contracting as adopted by the Oregon Legislature and to set forth the City’s public contracting rules. The new regulations will become effective March 1, 2005. A copy of the proposed ordinance will be available for public review in the City Recorder’s Office on the third floor of City Hall, 900 SE Douglas in Roseburg, beginning Monday, January 31, 2005.
The public hearing will begin at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 900 SE Douglas, Roseburg, Oregon. Citizens interested in the proposed ordinance are encouraged to attend the public hearing. The City Council will also consider any written testimony regarding the proposed ordinance provided to the City Recorder prior to the date of the public hearing. Written testimony may be forwarded to Sheila R. Cox, City Recorder, Roseburg City Hall, 900 SE Douglas, Roseburg, Oregon, 97470. Questions regarding the public hearing may be submitted to the City Recorder by calling 541/672-7701, extension #222.
