MELROSE: A Roseburg teenager was injured in a rollover accident on Melrose Road Sunday morning.
Jeremy Stephen Twibell, 17, reportedly took his eyes off the road to adjust the stereo and looked up to find that his 1993 BMW was headed to a ditch, according to a Douglas County Sheriff's Office spokesman. The car hit the ditch and rolled several times.
Twibell was transported to Mercy Medical Center, then to Legacy Emanuel Hospital & Health Center in Portland. He was listed in serious condition this morning, said a hospital spokesman.
He was cited for careless driving.
