Friends and family are searching for a Fort Bragg, Calif., woman who has been missing since December 2004 and may be in the Roseburg area.

A $30,000 reward is offered to anyone with information about the location of Kathryn LaMadrid, 40. Her family enlisted the help of the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office in California in searching for her.

LaMadrid is not in trouble with the law and has no warrant for her arrest, said Mendocino County Detective Kevin Cline.

LaMadrid is 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 140 pounds and has short, light brown hair that she dyes frequently. She has a tattoo of a blue and red ring on her left ring finger and a pierced lip and ear.

She was seen up until Jan. 11 in Fort Bragg, and was also thought to be in Ukiah, Calif., with a man from Roseburg, Cline said. The man returned to Roseburg in April, the same month LaMadrid was spotted in Myrtle Creek and Roseburg.

LaMadrid’s partner and family urge her to return to Sacramento or call and let loved ones know she’s OK. Rumors have circulated within the small Fort Bragg community that some harm may have come to her, said Cline, and her loved ones are concerned for her safety.

The reward also applies to anyone with information that leads to the arrest and conviction of anyone who may have harmed her.

Anyone with information should contact Cline at 707-463-4107. Shelli LaMadrid, Kathryn LaMadrid’s partner, would also like information.

She can be contacted at (916) 879-3505, PO Box 13903 Sacramento, CA 95853, or by e-mail at Tahoe_girl@netzero.net.
