ROSEBURG: Live music and a costume contest are on tap for the Salvation Army's fundraiser on Monday.
The Halloween Benefit Dinner & Show will take place from 6 to 11 p.m. at Lindy's Fun Center, 3136 Old Highway 99 South. Six Gun, a country rock group, will perform, and both adults and children are encouraged to participate in a costume contest.
A canned food drive will also take place. In exchange for two cans of nonperishable food items, people will receive a $3 coupon good toward the purchase of any giant size pizza at Lindy's or $2 off any large size pizza that night only.
Admission is $7 for singles and $10 for couples. Kids 12 and younger get in free. Tickets may be purchased in advance at the Salvation Army Thrift Shop in Roseburg, Hi 5 Music and Lindy's. Half of all ticket sales will go to the Salvation Army's annual Dress-A-Child program.
