ROSEBURG: Friends of a woman whose Roseburg home burned down last week have set up an account to help the family.
Kristina Salazar did not have renters insurance when the 153 S.E. Templin Ave. home caught fire Nov. 30. She and her sons, 12 and 17, escaped safely and are living in a hotel until they can find a two- or three-bedroom apartment or house, said Salazar's friend, Lara Van Lindt.
A candle or space heater likely caused the blaze, according to the Roseburg Fire Department.
Donations can be made in Salazar's name at the downtown Wells Fargo, 662 S.E. Jackson St.
