BEAVERTON -- Several members of the Umpqua Valley Gymnastics' Level 5 and 6 teams competed in the Oregon State Gymnastics Championships at the Oregon Gymnastics Academy.

At Level 5 Senior Division, UVG's Gaby Cardenas, the reigning Southern Oregon Sectional Champion, placed third on Balance Beam, sixth on Vault and finished the meet eighth all-around with a 36.60 score.

In the Level 5 Junior Division competition, Michaela Jeffredo also earned a top 10 all-around finish, completing the meet with a 36.00 all-around score. Hannah Truitt gave two 9.0 performances and finished the all-round with a 34.95 and Emily Pennington placed seventh on the Floor Exercise and finished the all-around with a 34.85. Mariah McGovern also competed at this level and had an all-around score of 33.375.

At Level 6, Natahsa Moffitt finished the meet with a total all-around of 33.275.
