Hornets sting Cruisers down the stretch

CAMAS VALLEY--Foul shots proved to be the key for the Camas Valley boys basketball team Tuesday. The Hornets made several clutch free throws down the stretch to secure their first victory of the season, beating Powers 45-43 in Skyline League play.Brantley Wafer scored a game-high 20 points, including four 3-pointers, while Kameron Wolfe didn't finish far behind, scoring 19 points for the Hornets."We were up by two points the whole way," Camas Valley coach Dave Williams said.
