What about DeVaughn for commissioner?

In moving recently from Grants Pass to Southern California, one of the things I miss most is the political counseling from Neil DeVaughn whom I've known since 1975.

I can't imagine that he would be willing to run for Douglas County commissioner, but it tells me that there must be many fine people in Douglas County for him to commit and serve.

Knowing DeVaughn for the last 30 years, in fact since I was Ms. Plymouth and he was a Chrysler-Plymouth dealer in San Diego, we have become close, loyal friends. I can tell you from personal experience he certainly knows how to add, subtract and be frugal, and I'm sure he will bring those attributes to Douglas County.

Let me say in closing, if I was a citizen of Douglas County, there could not be a better choice for government than DeVaughn.
