Kathryn Noma Grayson
GRAYSON, Kathryn Noma " Age 90, of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2006, in a local hospital. She was born on April 4, 1915, in Hayden Lake, Idaho, to William S. and Doris G. (Curtis) George. In 1934, in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, she married Eugene Rouse who preceded her in death in 1982. On February 10, 1984, in Roseburg, Oregon. Kathryn married Lawrence Grayson who preceded her in death in 1991. Mrs. Grayson had lived in the Roseburg area for 20 years. She enjoyed knitting dishcloths for her family and crocheting afghans. While she was able, she attended New Life Christian Center. Survivors include her daughters, Erma Knight and her husband, Dennis of Roseburg; Ardis Keyser and her husband, Bob of Spanaway, Washington; Kathy June Bliss of Albany, Oregon; Sherri Louise Rowe and her husband, Bob of Roseburg; son, Wayne Rouse of Everett, Washington; sisters, Esther Richardson of Hayden Lake, Idaho; Dorothy Craven of Seattle; brothers, Robert D. George and his wife, Donna of Kennewick, Washington; Glen George and his wife, Lorraine of Coeur d'Alene; numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Mrs. Grayson was also preceded in death by a son, Roy Rouse in 1946; one sister; three brothers; and son-in-law, Don Bliss. Private family services were held in Albany. Jeanette and her precious infant son, Timoteo passed away in a tragic car accident in Winston, Oregon.
JENNINGS, Jeannette Ann " Jeannette was born on January 8, 1967, in Lebanon, Oregon, daughter of Carl and Gloria (Jones) Jennings, but was raised and educated in the Winston-Roseburg, Oregon, area. She had worked at the downtown Safeway in Roseburg. Jeannette enjoyed reading and fashions, but her real dedication was to her baby. She always had a smile and a bubbling personality and was a joy to be with. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her mother, Gloria Tidwell and her husband, Roger of Myrtle Creek; a daughter, Chantel Rae Woods of Anchorage, Alaska; a son, Julian Commette of Seattle, Washington; three brothers, Timothy Blaine Jennings and his companion, Lisa of Winston; James Oliver of Roseburg; Brandon Tidwell and his companion, Kila of Roseburg; sister, Melissa Evans and her husband, Aaron and their family of Coos Bay, Oregon; and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles including Berry Jones and his wife, Nell of Roseburg.
JENNINGS, Timoteo Danotchi Raeshawn (Vaefaga) " Timoteo was born on June 24, 2005, in Roseburg, the son of Stewart Vaefaga and Jeannette Jennings. He is survived by his father, Stewart of Myrtle Creek; his grandparents, Carl Jennings of Kansas; Gloria Tidwell and her husband, Roger of Myrtle Creek; sister, Chantel Rae Woods of Anchorage; three brothers, Julian Commette of Seattle; Vincent Manuwai, who plays for the NFL Jacksonville Jaguars; Reggie Manuwai of Hawaii; great-grandmother, Geraldine Jones-Miller of Winston; numerous aunts and uncles, including Tim Jennings; Jim Oliver; Sam Tuaau; Fred, James, Joe, Francis and Thomas Taylor; and Paese, Vera and Lei Taylor. Funeral services for Jeanette and Timoteo Jennings, mother and son, will be held on Saturday, February 18, 2006, at 1 p.m., at Taylor's Family Chapel in Winston. Officiating will be Pastor Harvey Pullum. A reception will follow at the Winston Community Center. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
Angalee Elizabeth Brady
BRADY, Angalee Elizabeth " Age 51, of Myrtle Creek, Oregon, passed away at a local hospital early on Monday, February 13, 2006. She was the daughter of Kenneth Brady and Delano and Dorothy Casten of Glendale, Oregon. She was born on October 8, 1954, in Roseburg, Oregon, and lived most of her life in the Myrtle Creek area. Angalee was a graduate of Glendale High School and went to Umpqua Community College for nearly two years. She was a member of the Order Of The Eastern Star in Canyonville, Oregon. She loved flowers and gardening. Surviving are one son, Tyler James Woodral of Salem, Oregon; one daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Walczak of Myrtle Creek; two brothers, Patrick James and Shelly Brady of Marysville, Washington; Larry Wayne and his wife, Marsha Brady of Springfield, Oregon; one sister, Stephanie and her husband, Bryan Mortensen of South Seattle, Washington; and one granddaughter, Riley Woodral of Salem. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 1040 Lillian Street in Myrtle Creek, with a private burial to follow at the Glendale Cemetery.
