<b>Carl Keltz
</b>KELTZ, Carl Age 79, of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away on March 12, 2006. He was born on September 1, 1926, in Peru, Kansas. Carl served in the military during World War II. He was united in marriage to LaVella Denton in 1991. Carl is survived by his wife; sons, Brian, Kevin and John; stepsons, Dennis and Dana; brother, Ken; and five grandchildren. His son, Dennis preceded him in death in 1981. A public service will be held on Friday, March 24, 2006, at 2:30 p.m., at the Willamette National Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimers Association.

Donald R. Lamp
</b> Lamp, Donald R. Age 75, of Bandon, Oregon, formerly of the Glide, Oregon, area, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2006, at a Roseburg, Oregon hospital. He was born on June 11, 1930, in Newark, Ohio, son of Frank and Dessa (Owens) Lamp. He moved west as a young man and eventually settled in Arizona. In 1954, he entered the U.S. Army to serve our country. After the service he became a sheet metal worker and worked on large projects in the west and northwest, including nuclear power plants. He also worked in the shipyards in Seattle. He was a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local Number 359 and International Number 66. He retired in Prescott, Arizona, before moving to Oregon. He enjoyed traveling and frequently visited Nevada and Arizona. He is survived by his son, Derrick Lamp and his wife, Patrice of Idleyld Park, Oregon; a sister, Betty Carlson of Orlando, Florida; and three grandchildren, Christopher, Morgan and Devin Lamp, all of Idleyld Park. He also leaves very close friends, Bob and Lois Walker; Cliff Walker; and Joe and Toni Hughes, all of Prescott Valley, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Thelma Lincoln; and two brothers, Jim and Gerald Lamp. Private family services will be held at the Prescott National Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Taylors Family Chapel.
<b>Barney Lovell Powers
</b> POWERS, Barney Lovell Age 98, of Roseburg, Oregon, passed away on March 11, 2006, at his home. He was born on July 13, 1907, in Benger, Oklahoma, to Charlie and Dora Powers. On June 6, 1940, Barney married Ethelyn Carter in Las Vegas, Nevada. They moved to Roseburg in 1944. Barney was a member of the Local 2949 and worked as a warehousemen in a plywood plant. He and Ethelyn attended church at Westside Christian Church and they enjoyed going on trips to Yuma, Arizona. Barney is survived by a sister-in-law and his friends. Preceding him in death was his wife, Ethelyn who passed away in 1999 and three brothers. At Barneys request, there will be no services. WILSONS CHAPEL OF THE ROSES is in charge of arrangements.
<b>Wanda Jeanette Scevers
</b> SCEVERS, Wanda Jeanette Age 50, of Oakland, Oregon, passed away on March 13, 2006, in Oakland. She was born in Roseburg, Oregon, on September 22, 1955, to Alfred and Lois Scevers Sr. Wanda was living in Springfield, Oregon, until she moved to Oakland a year ago to help her mother take care of her father. She was a loving and giving person who took care of friends and family throughout her life. Wanda liked going horseback riding on her horse, Babe with her sister, Lori; spending time with her brother, Alfred at Christmas; doing crafts; dry flower arranging; and playing with her dog, Yoda. She enjoyed being with her son, Zeb, especially when they would go on long walks and talk. Wanda worked many years for Willamalane Parks and Recreation maintaining the lawns and flowers. Survivors include her son, Zebulin Culver of Eugene, Oregon; parents, Alfred and Lois Scevers Sr. of Oakland; sister, Lori and her husband, Lonnie Hubbard of Bremerton, Washington; brother, Alfred and his wife, Connie Scevers, Jr. of Sutherlin; nephews, Ryan Scevers and Chris Hubbard; niece, Bristol Hubbard; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and her many cherished friends. There will be a gathering in the Spring for family and friends to honor the memory of Wanda to be announced at a later date. CHAPEL OF THE FIRS is assisting the family.
