Going somewhere? We want to print your travel photos

We don't want you to send us a postcard -- we'd rather see photos.

The News-Review is having its second annual Travel Photos Contest, where we'll print the most interesting and exciting photos from your travels in a special Sunday Life section.

We're looking for photos from your travels -- they can be from anywhere from Switzerland to Saskatchewan to Seattle.

We're looking for the interesting and the unique -- and not just static photos of family members in front of scenery.

If you haven't gone anywhere interesting this year, we'll accept any photo taken from May 1, 2005, up to today.

The deadline for submission of photos is Friday, Aug. 25. The top picks will appear on our Sept. 3 Life page.

Photos should have a resolution of 200 dpi, be at least 6 inches wide and be sent as a jpeg or tiff file.

Please include caption information and contact information (name, phone number and town). One photo submission per e-mail. Send e-mail submissions to Features Editor Nik Dirga at ndirga@newsreview.info.

Please remember to put "Travel Contest'" in the subject line.
