RIDDLE: A California man was in stable condition at the hospital this morning following a Monday car crash on Interstate 5 near Milepost 105.
Acia T. Soots, 66, of Turlock was driving a 2002 Ford F150 pickup north in the fast lane when the truck drifted into the shoulder around 10:40 a.m., according to an Oregon State Police report.
Soots lost control of the pickup, which went into the grass median and struck a guardrail near the overpass.
Soots was taken to Mercy Medical Center where he was admitted, a hospital spokeswoman said.
