Online resources for learning disabilities

Schwab Learning's Web site has an free online tool kit at www.schwablearning.org/bts2006 for parents of children with learning disabilities. It includes articles on issues that arise for kids at the beginning of the school year.

The organization also has a Web site, www.sparktop.org, for kids 8 to 12 years old who struggle with learning. The site includes games and a blog monitored by adults where kids can communicate about topics like bullying and homework challenges.
