Monarch Woodworking is now more than just woodworking. Its about 1,000 square feet more, actually.
The year-old business at 1775 Green Siding Road recently expanded with a 1,000-square-foot showroom and a new business inside.
Monarch Woodworking is owned by Ronda and Robert Haugen. It sells handcrafted and customer designed cabinetry and furniture.
The business also now sells a lot more in its new area. Ronda Haugen started the new venture with daughters Amelia and Nicolette.
The new shop has furniture, gifts, antiques, April Cornell linens, quilts and various handcrafted items.
Staff from Angels in the Attic Co., an antique and consignment shop that closed at the end of July, has joined in to sell merchandise at Monarch Woodworking as well.
The idea is for the product lines to continually change and expand, according to Ronda Haugen.
The store is open noon to 6 p.m. Wednesday to Friday and 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Saturday.
