ROSEBURG: The general manager of Sizzler Restaurant and the store director of Hollywood Video want to help out so much this Christmas, they're losing their hair.
If the community donates 1,000 toys and household items to drop-off locations at the two businesses, Phil Kailiuli of Sizzler and Jason Jakubos of Hollywood Video will shave their heads.
All items donated will go to the Battered Persons' Advocacy.
Game Crazy, located in the same building as Hollywood Video, will host a Guitar II tournament Dec. 10 and a Halo II tournament Dec. 16 with the stuff for the cause.
Kailiuli and Jakubos will also get some help in their pursuit of baldness from Santa Claus of the North Pole.
Claus will appear at the following times:
• Nov. 25 -- 1 to 3 p.m at Sizzler, 1156 N.W. Garden Valley Blvd.; 4 to 7 p.m. at Hollywood Video, 1176 N.W. Garden Valley Blvd.
• Dec. 10 -- noon to 4 p.m. at Sizzler
• Dec. 16 -- 2 to 6 p.m. at Hollywood
• Dec. 17 -- noon to 4 p.m. at Sizzler
• Dec. 23 -- 2 to 6 p.m.
