<b>Zetta Ruth King-Keeny</b>
Age 86, of Klamath Falls, Oregon, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2007. She was born on November 23, 1920, in Wenatchee, Washington, to parents, Floyd and Pansy (McLaughlin) King. She moved to Klamath Basin in 1929, homesteading in Tulelake in 1933. She entered Tulelake High School at the age of 12, later had to miss a year and graduated in 1938. At age 15 she was a charter member of Tulelake Assembly of God. In 1941, she moved to Drain, Oregon, to be a housekeeper. She married Earl Keeny in Cottage Grove, Oregon, on August 19, 1941. On August 19, 2006, they celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary at Spring Creek Park in Chiloquin, Oregon. She was a devout christian, teaching Sunday School and Missonettes at Drain Assembly of God for many years. She attended Shasta Way Christian Church in Klamath Falls and loved living at Eldorado Heights, making many precious friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and infant brother, Willard and infant great-granddaughter, Rebecca. She is survived by her husband, Earl Keeny; son and daughter-in-law, Philip and Nancy Keeny of Colton, California; daughters and sons-in-law, Judi and Verlin Vian of Chiloquin; Leandra and Larry Weathers of Klamath Falls; Cindy and BJ Payne of Roseburg, Oregon; sisters, Nina Muriel Elsey of Canada; Shirley Petersen and Edmona Smith both of Springfield, Oregon; nine grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Thursday, March 8, 2007, at 5 p.m until 9 p.m., at Smith-Lund Mills Funeral Chapel. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 9, 2007, at 1 p.m., at Assembly of God Church in Drain, Oregon. Interment will be held at East Drain Cemetery in Drain. Memorial contributions may be made to Missions through Drain Assembly of God.

Age 69, of Florence, Oregon, passed away on Wednesday, February 21, 2007. She was born in Roseburg, Oregon, on February 14, 1938, and had lived in the area for many years. Ann is survived by her husband, Floyd who she married on August 23, 1969, in Reedsport, Oregon. Her three sons, Earl of Florence; Dean of Medford, Oregon and Eric of Maryville, Washington; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and a brother, Ernest Crane and his wife, Rose of Roseburg. <b>Leonard C. Pete Barge </b>
Age 86, of Coos Bay, Oregon, formerly of Reedsport,Oregon, died on Wednesday, February 28, 2007, of natural causes. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, March 9, 2007, at Dunes Memorial Chapel, 2300 Frontage Road, Reedsport, Oregon. A reception for family and friends will follow at St. Marys Episcopal Church, 2nd St., Gardiner, Oregon. Private burial will be held at Reedsport Masonic Cemetery. Pete was born on April 20, 1920, to Carl Henry Barge and Bertha Culver Barge in Sutherlin, Oregon. He graduated from high school in Sutherlin and he married Rose O. Neureiter on December 26, 1941, in Roseburg, Oregon. They were happily married for 61 years until she passed away on May 21, 2003. Pete served 4 years in the U.S. Navy during World War II. His destroyer the USS OBrien was torpedoed the same time as the WASP in the Bismarck Area – New Caledonia, it sank off American Samoa in September 1942. Two months later he was assigned to the destroyer USS Endicott. He served in the Asiatic Pacific Campaign, European African Middle Eastern Campaign, and American Area Campaign. He was a loader on the 5 inch gun mounts that sank 2 German destroyers. He received the Sailors Combat Ribbon, Navy Achievement Medal with a combat V and was recommended for a Silver Star. Pete began working in the woods as a teenager and after the war he worked for Roseburg Lumber high climbing, until 1956, when he began working for Long Bell International Paper in Reedsport. He retired in May 1981, as Assistant Logging Superintendent, Woodlands Division. Pete enjoyed hunting, fishing, and clam digging well into his 80s. He loved working in his garden and raised beautiful dahlias every summer. But what he enjoyed most was time spent with his grandchildren, especially when they got old enough to fish, hunt, and play pinochle with him. He was a member of the American Legion since 1945. Pete is survived by his daughter, Patricia A. and son-in-law, John Bowers, of Reedsport; son, John H. Barge and Sharon Rood, of Salem, Oregon; sisters, Edna Sullivan and Betty Chapman of Bend,Oregon; brother, Robert Barge, of Sheldon, Washington; grandchildren, Jacqui Grippin of Reedsport; Scott and Tammy Bowers of La Grande, Oregon; Tiffanie and Joseph Clifford of Canby, Oregon and Jill, Christopher, and Matthew Barge all of Salem. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents. Age 94, passed away on March 3, 2007, at home. Richard was born on March 1, 1913, in Beverly, Massachusetts. He was a resident of San Bernadino, California, for seven years and a former resident of Roseburg, Oregon, for twelve years. He was a member of Roseburg United Methodist Church and a Machinist for 40 years. He is survived by his sister, Beth Beatty of Los Angeles, California; six nephews, and one niece. Memorial services for Larry D. Exceen, age 68, of Roseburg, Oregon, who went home to the Lord on Friday, March 2, 2007, will be held at 12 p.m. noon, on Thursday, March 8, 2007, at the Garden Valley Christian Assembly, located at 3047 Garden Valley Road. Private interment will be at the Roseburg Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Larry was born on July 25, 1938, in Kearny, Nebraska, the son of Ezra and Lillian (Josh) Exceen. He moved to Oregon in 1947, where he was raised and educated, graduating from Roseburg High School in 1956. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Ellen Faye Cotnan on June 28, 1958, in Roseburg. Larry had worked at Roseburg Forest Products for 40 years and was a member of the Lumber and Sawmill Workers, Local 2949. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and carpentry, but he loved being with and helping his friends and family. He was a Christian and was passionate about worshipping God. He lived his life for God and his family and was a member of the Garden Valley Christian Assembly. Larry is survived by his children, Terry Exceen and his wife, Linda and Lisa Rynearson and her husband, Butch both of Roseburg; Rhonda Gosso and her husband, Jeff of Riddle, Oregon and Mitch Exceen and his wife, Becky of Gig Harbor, Washington. He also leaves a brother, Lonnie Exceen and his wife, Mary of Eugene, Oregon and a sister, Rosetta Cumpston and her husband, Jerry of Roseburg. Larry has numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of over 47 years, Ellen Faye Exceen who passed away on February 20, 2006. <i>We will miss you so very much dad, but we know you are where you have been striving to be, with God and mom, we love you so very much and always will.</i>

She is preceded in death by her husband, John D. Inman on June 14, 1993. She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Eaton on Anyway, U.S.A; son, John D. Inman of Elmira, Oregon; daughter, JoAnn Barr of Oakridge; son, Billy Inman of Medford, Oregon; brother, John B. She was married in 1954, to Kenneth A. Turk and had two daughters, Kelly and Toni. She was married to Donald Meshew on November 24, 1997, a childhood, friend. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Kenneth W. McCasland on May 11, 1990. Survived by her daughter, Kelly and her husband, David Roberts; daughter, Toni and her husband, Chuck Batson; grandchildren, Rick, Liz, Gary, Cachet, Heather and Caitlin; great-grandchildren, Andrea and Arabella; brothers, Dennis C. Chamberlin and his wife, Penny; Casey R. Chamberlin; Connie J.
