CANYONVILLE: Narcotics officers arrested two people Friday morning after allegedly finding packaged methamphetamine worth an estimated $700 in a Canyonville mobile home.
The Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team served a search warrant at the home of David Lee Guffie, 46, at 365 N. Main Street No. 14 in the DrifterÕs Trailer Court around 8:30 a.m., according to a DINT press release.
Detectives allegedly found packaged methamphetamine with a street value of $700, along with U.S. currency, scales, packaging material and other drug paraphernalia.
Guffie was arrested on suspicion of the possession, delivery and manufacturing of meth. A Myrtle Creek woman, 45-year-old Amber Marie Vachon, was also arrested on suspicion of possession of meth.
The Douglas County SheriffÕs Office assisted at the scene.
