CANYONVILLE: A Riddle man was arrested Thursday after police found methamphetamine crystals in his vehicle.
Gary Don Wallace, 26, was accused of possession of methamphetamine and failure to carry a drivers license.
Wallace was stopped for a traffic infraction on Interstate 5, just north of Canyonville. Senior Trooper Don Frerichs spotted a plastic bag in the drivers door compartment that later tested positive for meth.
His passenger, Vaniesa Lee Owens, 35, also from Riddle, was also taken into custody. She was apprehended on a failure to appear warrant stemming from a bad check case from Curry County.
Both Wallace and Owens were taken to the Douglas County Jail.
