4-H holds tech conference



WINCHESTER: All fourth- through 12th-graders are invited to 4-H’s Technology Conference from 9:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 5 at Umpqua Community College’s Technology Center, 1140 College Road.

Two-hour classes on 3-D animation, Art Bots, Web page design, Lego robotics and using GPS/GIS technology will be offered. Information on joining 4-H technology clubs will also be available, as well as exhibit opportunities and county and state fairs. The cost is $5; registration is limited to 30, and participants must register by April 27.
