LOOKINGGLASS: A Sutherlin man was injured Monday when the motorcycle he was riding crashed on Dairy Loop Road.
Joe Felix, 45, was riding the 2006 Honda motorcycle north on Dairy Loop near Pony Lane when he hit a patch of gravel in a 15 mph curve and was thrown from the bike around 3:45 p.m., according to the Douglas County Sheriffs Office.
Felix, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg with a possible broken collar bone. He was later transferred to Sacred Heart Medical Center in Eugene. The condition of Felix, who is a sergeant with the Sutherlin Police Department, was not available this morning.
