WINSTON: Police arrested a Winston woman Tuesday when they allegedly found her with her 6-year-old son in a house littered with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Douglas Interagency Narcotics Team officers served a search warrant at the 128 Raleigh Drive home of Deana R. Smith, 46, around 8 a.m., according to a DINT press release.
Officers found Smith and her son in the master bedroom, along with two used meth pipes and seven marijuana pipes within reach of the child, according to DINT.
Nearly two grams of crystal meth were also allegedly found in three separate plastic containers in the kitchen area, along with two sets of scales and packaging material.
Officers discovered another meth pipe in a box that also contained individual fruit drinks on the kitchen floor, according to DINT.
Smith was arrested on suspicion of the unlawful manufacture, delivery and possession of meth and endangering the welfare of a minor.
Oregon State Police and Department of Human Services Child Welfare Program officials also assisted.
