REEDSPORT – A Reedsport man was injured Monday when his vehicle crashed into a truck at the intersection of Highway and Winchester avenues.
Evan P. Noxon, 18, was attempting to drive his 1985 Chevrolet Blazer from a store parking lot on Highway Avenue across to Winchester when a truck towing a travel trailer pulled in front of him around 11:50 a.m., according to a Douglas County Sheriffs Office report.
William L. OSullivan, 62, of Port Orford had been turning the Ford F250, towing a 24-foot trailer, south off Winchester onto Highway with a green light when the crash occurred. Noxon was taken to Lower Umpqua Hospital in Reedsport with minor injuries, according to the report. His condition was not available this morning.
No citations were issued.
