Closed rail line idles workers; future of Winchester switchyard uncertain after funds frozen

U.S. Rep. Peter DeFazio on Wednesday asked the Federal Railroad Administration to evaluate the rail line between Vaughn and Coquille, shut down last week by the Central Oregon & Pacific Railroad.
