Beverly is survived by five children, Danny Carlson of Sun City, California; Christina Welshmier of Phoenix, Arizona; Dennis Carlson of Goodyear, Arizona; Nancy Miller of George Town, California; Laura Busic of Riverside, California; sister, Linda Borella and husband, Louis Borella of Roseburg, Oregon. She loved all her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and her best friend, Rose. Beverly moved to Oregon ten years ago and said she moved to Gods country. She loved to laugh and joke around, her love of life and sense of humor was loved by all that met her. She worked at Fat Harveys and the Jersey Lilly and always said she loved the people.

March 23, 1956 - October 3, 2007. Age 51, passed away in his Lookinglass, Oregon, home on October 3, 2007, surrounded by family and friends. Mark will long be remembered for his love of family, hunting, and fishing. A gentle and quiet family man, Mark is survived by his wife, Johnell; sons, Dan and Ryan; daughters, Katheryn and Kendall; granddaughters, Mackenzie and Madison. Please join the Weber family for a tribute to Marks life at 2 p.m., Sunday, October 14, 2007, at the Lookinglass School with a celebration of Marks life following at the Lookinglass Grange Hall. <b>Norman Gene Colton</b>
Age 74, passed away Thursday, October 4, 2007. He was born May 11, 1933, to William and Ester Colton, in Council, Idaho. In his early years, Norman was raised on the Salmon River and in his opinion "It was the best damn place a kid could grow up." His love of fishing and hunting stayed with him all his life. Norman met the love of his life, Mary Darlene and they were married September 3, 1949. After serving in the United States Marine Corp., Norman and Mary settled down in Roseburg, Oregon. Norman was a cabinet maker for Nelson and Pyle Woodworking for 36 years. He had several hobbies; He was a wood carver and gold panner. He also loved working on his house, and growing gardens. Normans favorite thing was just to sit and talk with everyone. He had a gift of gab and a heart full of kindness and didn't have an enemy in the world. Norman is survived by two sons, Dan Colton and Devlin and his wife, Debbie Colton, all of Roseburg. He is also survived by a daughter, Joelle Ford of Wooster, Ohio; a brother, Warren Colton of Coquille, Oregon and three brothers-in-law, Glen Slead of Portland, Oregon; David Jarrard of Council, Idaho; and Jerry Woods and his wife, Judy, of Redmond, Oregon. Norman also leaves his mother-in-law, Marie Slead of Redmond, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Norman was preceded in death by his parents, William and Ester Colton; three brothers, Harold, Darrell; and Jim Colton; two sisters, Edna Harding and Irma Huggins; his wife, Mary Darlene; and his ten year old daughter, Linda. There will be a celebration of Norman's life for family and friends to be announced at a later date. A very special thanks to the kind folks at the VA Hospital. <b>Evelyn M. Campbell</b>
Former longtime Winston, Oregon, resident, Evelyn Marie Campbell, age 95, left her family and friends to be with our Lord and Savior September 21, 2007, in Kirkland, Washington. Evelyn was born October 29, 1911, in Millinocket, Maine, to Fred and Maude Brooks Vashon. She married Leo Joseph Campbell May 24, 1934, in Waterville, Maine. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Alban (Elsie) Theriault, of Whittier, California; children, Shirley Lewis of Snohomish, Washington and Lynwood R. Campbell and wife, Lynnda of Winston. Evelyn was Grammy to numerous grandchildren, Evelyn Goodale; Tina Goodale; Terri Goodale; and Jeffrey Goodale of Maine; John Lewis and Karen Miller of Washington; Cynthia Campbell of Roseburg, Oregon; Teresa Campbell Bagnall of Eugene, Oregon; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Evelyn was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leo and daughter, Joyce Goodale. She most recently lost her son-in-law, Russell Lewis, on September 18, 2007. Evelyn loved her crafts and gifted several beautiful handmade nativity sets to numerous Catholic orphanages, clergy and churches throughout the United States and world. Evelyn daily gave thanks to Jesus for the life he granted her and her family, with his blessings, seen and unseen. She continued her tatting and mailed her handcrafted cards containing countless messages of love and friendship until the time of her death. She loved to share her fascinating life experiences with others. She lived with her daughter, Shirley Lewis the last three years of her life. Her family request Masses and Rosaries be offered for Evelyn. She will be buried at Evergreen Washelli, Seattle, Washington.
<b>June Saunders </b>
Passed away on September 30, 2007, at the age of 94 years, of sound mind until recently, at a nursing home in Roseburg, Oregon. Three years prior to that, she lived in Sutherlin, Oregon, a widow since 2000 at the passing of her husband, Irving Saunders. She was born September 10, 1913, as Marianne Nowicki in Krischa, Gorlitz, Germany. Her mother died when she was four years old. When she was eight, she went to live with her aunt and uncle, Stuart and Marie Schier Barnard, where she found love and happiness. She took her place working in the shipyards during WW II, and became a naturalized U.S. citizen at the same time she changed her name to June Elinor Barnard. She was a kindergarten teacher in California, and was interested in physical fitness and health. She and Irving were married in Spring Valley, California on April 2, 1975. They were dedicated to one another in love, and were members of the Sutherlin Seventh-day Adventist Church since before 1990. They were interested in the welfare of others, and witnessed to others of the present joy and the future hope they shared in Jesus. A public memorial service will be held at her church in Sutherlin at 841 W. Central, on Monday, October 8, 2007, at 10 a.m. Contributions may be made to adra.org, or itiswritten.com, or thequiethour.org, benevolent organizations ministering to a world in need. June had no children. She is survived by step-children, Dr. David S. Saunders of Pasco, Washington; Emily Harshbarger of Fontana, California; step-grandchildren, Thomas; Brian; and Bradley Harshbarger; Dr. David A. Saunders and Kimberly McMurray. June and Irving were preceded in death by Irving's son, Brian Saunders.
