Lancers' rally falls short

TRI CITY " After a poor first half which saw it fall behind 28-12, the South Umpqua girls basketball wore out Phoenix and won the second half.But the Pirates won the game.Junior guard Chelsea Passante had 19 points to lead the Pirates to a 47-39 non-league win. Kelsey George added 11 points and Qiana Helm nine rebounds. Tessa Falk and Triana Crane both finished with nine points for the Lancers (1-2), but 19 missed free throws proved costly.
