WINCHESTER: The Douglas County Parks Department is seeking a volunteer camp host for Amacher Park.
The host is responsible for registering campers, overseeing pavilion use, daily cleaning of park facilities and enforcing park policies, as necessary. The person filling the position would live there.
The park is located along the North Umpqua River on the south side of the James A. Booth bridge that recently reopened on Highway 99.
