Hillary Clinton speaks Saturday at South Eugene

Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton will speak Saturday afternoon at South Eugene High School.

Clinton is scheduled to speak at 1:30 p.m. in the school gymnasium, 400 E. 19th Ave. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. for the "Solutions for America" rally.

Clinton will speak that morning in Portland. Details of that appearance have not yet been announced.

Clinton's visit comes days after her husband, former President Bill Clinton, appeared in Medford on Sunday and in Portland, Salem and Bend on Monday.

The couple's daughter, Chelsea Clinton, will speak at the Democratic Party of Oregon's platform convention in Eugene on April 12.

Hillary Clinton and Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, who spoke in Eugene two weeks ago, are still battling for the Democratic nomination. Both candidates are cultivating voters ahead of Oregon's May 20 primary.

RSVP for Saturday's speech online at http://hillaryclinton.com/eugene.
