Age 100, of Yoncalla, Oregon, passed away on Tuesday, May 6, 2008. Mary was born on March 4, 1908 to Robert and Martha (Jones) Allen in Yoncalla. Mary was a lifelong Yoncalla resident. As a youth she picked prunes and later was a bean row boss for Johnson’s Bean Field. She attended Hayhurst School. On November 17, 1928, Mary married Marion Baldwin in Yoncalla. She enjoyed being a homemaker. Her hobbies included sewing, canning, and reading. She was active with the Yoncalla Seventh-day Adventist Church. Mary is preceded in death by her husband, Marion; four brothers, Everett, Ernie, Robert, Delton Allen; and sister, Mabel Nelson. Survivors include numerous nieces and nephews.
