DOUGLAS COUNTY: Graduates, families and friends who are participating in high school graduations scheduled for this weekend in Douglas County may share their photos with The News-Review for publication consideration.
In an effort to highlight graduations at some of the county’s smaller schools, the paper is planning a photo page of graduation images from this weekend on the Life page of the June 8 issue. Whether it’s a photo of a graduate being candid, having fun or celebrating, please submit.
Graduations on tap for this weekend are Days Creek Charter School at 7 p.m. Friday, Canyonville Christian Academy at 10 a.m. Saturday, Riddle High School at 7 p.m. Saturday, Yoncalla High at 1 p.m. Sunday and Umpqua Valley Christian at 3 p.m. Sunday.
Digital photos should be at least 6 to 8 inches wide and 200 dots per inch. Please include names and hometowns of those pictured.
Send photos to Craig Reed at creed@nrtoday.com, mail them to The News-Review, P.O. Box 1248, Roseburg, OR 97470 or drop them off at the newspaper’s office at 345 N.E. Winchester, Roseburg.
