ROSEBURG: A panel of fishery experts will discuss Tuesday the recent listing of coastal coho salmon as threatened under the Endangered Species Act.
The Partnership for the Umpqua Rivers will host the 9 to 11 a.m. meeting at the Douglas County Library.
The panel includes Todd Buchholz, fishery biologist for the Umpqua National Forest; David Heikkila, a former staff member of the Oregon State University Extension Service office in Myrtle Point; and Dave Loomis, former fishery biologist for the Umpqua District of the Oregon Department of Fish and Wildlife.
