POLICE LOG

Friday

Douglas County sheriff

9:13 a.m. — Injured deer dispatched on Interstate 5 near Milepost 88 northbound near Azalea.

10:53 p.m. — Harassment on the 300 block of Maple Street in Riddle.



Reedsport Police

9:05 a.m. — Theft of package delivered by UPS to residence on the 2400 block of Longwood Drive.

10:58 a.m. — Theft of hanging baskets from residence on the 3000 block of Ridgeway Drive.



Roseburg Police

1:13 a.m. — One in custody for allegedly driving under the influence of intoxicants on the 2600 block of Old Highway 99 South.

4:03 a.m. — One in custody for allegedly driving under the influence of intoxicants at Harvard Avenue and Keady Court.

8 a.m. — Past theft reported from the 1100 block of Garden Valley Boulevard.

10:25 a.m. — Fraudulent check received at business on the 2400 block of Northeast Stephens Street.

5:41 p.m. — Criminal mischief to vehicle on the 1200 block of Germond Avenue while owner was away on vacation.

6:03 p.m. — Theft of portable carport earlier in the morning on the 300 block of Pomona Street.



Sutherlin Police

11:16 p.m. — Trespass and harassment on the 900 block of Northeast Fourth Avenue.



Winston Police

6:49 p.m. — Theft of shoes from male on Thompson Road.



Saturday

Douglas County sheriff

3:26 a.m. — Man arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after he was found sleeping inside restaurant on Grant Smith Road.

11:08 a.m. — Burglary and stolen tools discovered at house under construction on the 600 block of West First Street in Canyonville.



Sutherlin Police

12:51 a.m. — Failure to supervise children case assigned after report of two small boys sitting alone on the 800 block of East Central Avenue.



Winston Police

1:42 a.m. — Minor in possession of less than one ounce of marijuana at South Main Street and Hart Street.



ACCIDENTS

Friday

Douglas County sheriff

2:24 p.m. — Vehicle skidded in the dirt and crashed into a power pole on the 9300 block of Little River Road near Glide. One person was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries. Glide Fire Department and Douglas County Fire District No. 2 ambulance also responded.

3:25 p.m. — All-terrain vehicle accident off the 1500 block of Salmon Harbor Drive in Winchester Bay. Unknown injuries. Winchester Bay Fire Department also responded.

8:06 p.m. — Vehicle off the road and into a pasture on the 5000 block of Elgarose Road in Melrose. No injuries. Douglas County Fire District No. 2 also responded.



Winston Police

1 p.m. — Noninjury vehicle accident at Highway 42 and Old Highway 99 South.



Saturday

Douglas County sheriff

7:37 a.m. — Two-vehicle, noninjury accident at Canyonville Riddle Road and Shoestring Road in Riddle.

9:50 a.m. — Single-vehicle, noninjury accident on the 5000 block of Garden Valley Boulevard.

10:39 a.m. — Noninjury vehicle accident occurred when driver was backing out of driveway on the 100 block of Alameda Street in Tri City.



Oregon State Police

7:52 a.m. — Noninjury vehicle accident on Interstate 5 at Milepost 104 southbound.



Roseburg Police

10:36 a.m. — Two-vehicle, noninjury accident on the 2100 block of Stewart Parkway



Sutherlin Police

11:34 a.m. — Vehicle hit a power pole on the 400 block of West Central Avenue. No injuries.





FIRE RUNS

Friday

Oakland

3 a.m. — Residence on fire on the 1700 block of Old Town Loop Road in Oakland. Sutherlin Fire Department, Oakland Fire Department and Rice Hill Fire Department responded.



Glendale

12:28 p.m. — Illegal burn on the 600 block of West Pacific Avenue in Glendale.



Rice Hill

3:29 p.m. — Vehicle fire at the Interstate 5 Cabin Creek Rest Area near Rice Hill.



Roseburg

10:41 — Juveniles burning garbage at residence on Giles Street. Homeowner put out the fire.
