Riddle truck fire

Print Comment
Firefighters from the Douglas Forest Protective Association mop up a small brush fire that started after a truck crashed into a ditch and caught fire on the 1200 block of Riddle Bypass Road around 12:20 p.m. Tuesday in Riddle. Seven DFPA firefighters responded with three engines to extinguish the fire that burned about a tenth of an acre, said Randy Lemming, the agency’s dispatch supervisor. The Tri City Rural Fire Protection District and Riddle Volunteer Fire Department helped put out the truck fire while First Strike Environmental responded to clean up spilled diesel.
