ELKTON The Oregon State University Extension Forestry Program is offering a free tree identification class in Elkton.
The class will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. July 9 at the Elkton Community Education Center, 15850 Highway 38 West.
Participants will learn to use dichotomous keys and identify native trees. The class will be outdoors, so attendees need to dress appropriately.
Those who are interested in attending need to register by July 7.
