BOOK SIGNING — Meet the author from 5:15 to 6:30 p.m. tonight at While Away Books, 932 W. Harvard Ave., Roseburg. Longtime host of the Jefferson Exchange on Jefferson Public Radio, Jeff Golden, will sign, read and discuss his book, “Unafraid: A Novel of the Possible.” The book uses an alternative history premise to explore what might have happened. www.unafraidthebook.com or 957-1751.

GRAFFITI CONCERT — Dance to oldies starting at 9 p.m. tonight at Seven Feathers Hotel & Casino Resort, 146 Chief Miwaleta Lane, Canyonville. RIVER FORKS SHOW-N-SHINE — View classic beauties from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at River Forks Park, Roseburg. Registration 8 to 11 a.m. Trophies, raffles, food booths, free shuttle bus service. COLLECTOR CAR AUCTION — One man’s junk... find yours at 8 a.m. Saturday. Viewing opens at 9:30 a.m. with a toy and memorabilia auction and at 10 a.m. there will be a car auction at the Douglas County Fairgrounds Complex, Douglas Hall, 2110 S.W. Frear St., Roseburg. ROSEBURG TOWN CENTER CAR SHOW — View more classics from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jackson Street, Roseburg. Celebration of 100 years of the Ford Model T. Trophies, dash plaques and goody bags. MUSIC IN THE PARK/ELKTON — Music in the Park is coming Saturday and Sunday to the Elkton Community Education Center, 15850 State Highway 38. The two-day event will begin Saturday with student music performances and a jam session from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the amphitheater. At 6:30 p.m., local group Small Town Rumor will take over and play rock ’n’ roll until 9:30 p.m. Sunday’s performances begin at 2 p.m. with Bob Manning and Nashville West with Taryn Cross. The band plays country, rockabilly and western swing. Headlining in the afternoon will be Amy Clawson, a country and western singer. All performances are free and donations will be accepted at each concert. Wine and beer gardens will be open from 1 to 5 p.m. and espresso and ice cream will be available. UMPQUA FLATHEADS GRAFFITI NIGHT CRUISE — Thousands will be cruising the streets from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday. The cruise route on Jackson Street and Main Street in downtown Roseburg. No advance registration required; admission is $10, which includes a dash plaque; vehicle registration and proof of insurance required. Vehicles must be 1965 or older. GRAFFITI WEEKS-END FUN RUN — Take a fun run Sunday with registration from 9 to 10:30 a.m. 2475 Stewart Parkway, Roseburg. The entry fee is $2. The run will take the scenic route from Roseburg to Seven Feathers Hotel & Casino Resort in Canyonville. Presented by Classic Chevelles of Oregon. 673-1520.

GRAFFITI DRAGS — Don’t miss the drags, starting at noon, the gate and tech line will be open at the Douglas County Speedway, 2110 S.W. Frear St. Roseburg. Track opens at 1 p.m.; grudge racing until 3 p.m.; King of the Hill at 4 p.m. Entry fee is $15; driver’s license required; open to all cars; pit pass admission is $5. 672-8744.
