SUTHERLIN — The Umpqua Starchasers Drill Team is hosting the Strawberry Shortcake Horse Show beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Sutherlin rodeo grounds behind the fire station.
Approved by the Oregon Family Equestrian Activities, the show will be judged by Kelly Kaufman-Cole with open points and a high-point award for each age group, English horse/rider and Western horse/rider.
The price for youth is $5 per class and is $6 per class for adults.
The show will be facilitated by the Broomtail Buddies 4-H group and could potentially benefit any 4-H horse member preparing for the Douglas County Fair.
