A 2-year-old boy from Green was injured Monday in an all-terrain vehicle accident in the mountains east of Coquille and Myrtle Point, according to the Coos County Sheriffs Office.
Wyatt Branon was a passenger on the ATV operated by Robert Bouska, 38, of Myrtle Point, said Sgt. Pat Downing. The crash was reported around 8 p.m.
Details on how the crash occurred were not available this morning. Bouska was cited for endangering the boy, Downing said.
Branon was flown out of the area to Roseburg and was then taken to Mercy Medical Center. He was later transferred to Legacy Emanuel Hospital in Portland, a Mercy spokeswoman said.
The boy was listed in fair condition this morning.
