The issue is not the war in Iraq. The U.S. has destroyed its manufacturing base and its ability to maintain a level balance of trade. Were being drained at a rate that will lead to insolvency. A nation owing as much money to foreigners is no longer master of its own destiny. Were not free to do whats best for Americans, but made to bend to the will of those owning our debt, like indentured servants.
America is like a fly in a spider web. We have willingly flown into the economic web and the spiders that spun the web are drinking our blood every day.
Who are the spiders? Who owns our debt? Those from whom we must buy our necessities: China, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Iran, Japan, South Korea, the European Union. All who continue to vote against our interests in the U.N.
Its in their interests to keep America in the web of debt and teetering on insolvency so they can continue to feed on us. Their citizens benefit with more jobs and a higher standard of living. Their governments benefit by having money and power to manipulate our government through a combination of financial obligations and trade agreements designed to continue our economic slavery indefinitely.
What can be done to eliminate the financial drain and level the balance of trade? This is the most important question this election year. It is also the most obvious. Why isnt it asked? Why havent the candidates addressed it? Why dont the media pursue it with research and economic facts?
Can it be that our candidates are fearful of offending the spiders? Can it be that our economic masters have such a stranglehold on the U.S. economy that they can control the major media? Think about it.
