Patricia Kathleen Brown

December 30, 1927- September 2, 2008

Age 80, of Roseburg, Oregon, went to be with the Lord in the comfort of her home, on Tuesday, September 2, 2008. She was born in Hibbing, Minnesota, on December 30, 1927, to Rosswell and Jessie (Young) Barrett. Patricia married Clarence W. Brown in Tucson, Arizona, on August 18, 1946. She has been a resident of Douglas County for 45 years. Patricia was a Christian and a member of the Conservative Baptist Church, and most recently attended Melrose Community Church. She was actively involved with the Bible Study Fellowship and with the widows group. Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, sister, daughter, and especially a grandmother. A “Care Giver” to many, she always put the needs of others before her own. She is dearly missed by her family and friends. Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence on February 2, 2006. She is survived by her two children, Nancy Stotler and her husband, Keith: Jeffery Brown and his wife, Terri; five grandchildren, Matthew Brown; Jeremy Brown; Jessica Morey; Jordan Stotler; Aaron Stotler; one great-granddaughter; Audrey Grace Morey, and a nephew, Randy Barrett. A chance to pay your last respect will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, September 5, 2008, at Wilson’s Chapel of the Roses in Roseburg, Oregon. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 6, 2008, at the Melrose Community Church in Melrose. Pastor Mike Ruyle will be officiating. A private inurnment will be held at the Roseburg Nation Cemetery later next week.
