Highway 38 will be closed near Elkton all weekend due to construction at the Elk Creek tunnel.
The highway is closed from Milepost 36 to Milepost 50. The road closed at 9 p.m. Friday and will reopen at 6 a.m. Monday.
A signed detour will direct westbound traffic to Interstate 5 southbound from Curtain to Highway 138 West in Sutherlin.
Eastbound traffic will be directed from Highway 138 West in Elkton to Sutherlin, where drivers will connect with I-5 northbound.
