A 2006 Milo Adventist Academy graduate flew to Tanzania earlier this week. Now Walla Walla University mathematics student, Katie Currier, 19, will trade in books and calculators for mashed food and diapers as she spends her year as a student missionary near Arusha, Tanzania at an orphanage for infants.
