ALOHA The Roseburg football team lost 32-28 to Aloha (2-2) in yet another close game to drop to 0-4 overall for the first time since 1971.
The Indians fell 23-21 to Gresham in their opener and lost 38-34 to Beaverton last Friday.
The Indians were left with one last chance to score after Aloha sophomore tailback Johnathan Shaffer rushed for his second touchdown of the evening to give the Warriors the 32-28 advantage with 3:07 left in the game.
Josh Davis 32-yard catch from quarterback Thaddeus Davis put Roseburg in scoring position with 1:08 left, but Davis throw to Dakota Cavens on fourth-and-9 around the Warriors 13-yard line was not caught, sealing the win for Aloha.
Roseburg hosts Forest Grove Friday at Finlay Field.
