Morey the hippo died earlier this week at Wildlife Safari. He was 33.
Wildlife Safari staff found Morey Tuesday morning; he died sometime during the night. Tests after his death revealed a grapefruit-size bladder stone that looked as though it could have been infected, but his official cause of death will not be determined until all of the results are back from the lab, Curator Dan Brands said.
