The American Red Cross is launching its seventh year of the Civil War Blood Drive, in conjunction with the University of Oregon and Oregon State University rivalry football game.
From Nov. 6 through Nov. 22, donors around the state can give blood in honor of the Ducks or the Beavers. The winning team will be announced at the Civil War football game, and the victorious alumni association will receive a trophy.
Donors can enter to win two tickets to the football game in Corvallis, and all Civil War Blood Drive donors will receive a banner ink pen.
